How It Began

Bellatavo was borne from a desire to share the treasures of a soul tour called life. Founded by Tracy Hugh after a number of years traveling the globe, you can find a variety of products from every corner within Bellatavo's inventory of exotic products.

On a shoestring budget we set out for Spain with backpacks and Rick Steve's travel guides.

One year later we headed home after traveling to Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, Monte Carlo, Gibraltar, Portugal, Liechtenstein, and Morocco. Most importantly, we came home with three sons that were now "citizens of the world.

Our travels continued as the boys grew up with trips to Israel and Costa Rica.

The boys, now men, have traveled on their own to the Bahamas, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Columbia, Bolivia, South Africa, Mauritius, India, China, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia.

Laurie and I recently returned from four solid years of travel. On our journey we traveled to Japan, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Peru, Chile, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Italy, Germany, Austria and Hungary.

We have seen amazing things, met the kindest, most generous people, and eaten so many delicious foods! Now, through BELLATAVO, our greatest desire is to share these experiences with you!
